Talk to Us

We love getting mail from readers. Some of our favourite guides started life as one short question in our inbox, and many small fixes to older articles came from people who took a moment to point something out. If you have something to say, we would like to hear it.

How to reach us

The best way is email: letters@godsavethecream.net. The form further down this page works too. It does not send anything on its own; it opens your usual email program with your message filled in, so you can read it through before you press send.

Things we are happy to help with

  • Recipe and kitchen questions. Stuck on a step in one of our guides, or wondering whether an ingredient can be swapped? Ask away.
  • Ideas for new articles. Tell us what you searched for and could not find a clear answer to.
  • Corrections. If a fact, step or link in an article looks wrong, our Spotted an Error? page explains what details help us fix it quickly.
  • General feedback. What you liked, what was confusing, what you would like more of.

Questions outside our reach

We are a blog, not a clinic. Personal medical, dental or diet advice, doses and verdicts on symptoms are all beyond what we can offer. Questions like those deserve an answer from someone who can examine you, such as your doctor, dentist or pharmacist. Our Not Medical Advice page explains why.

For anything urgent, phone your local emergency number; an inbox is the wrong place for it.

Business enquiries

For questions about using or quoting our content, please describe what you have in mind and where it would appear. We read these messages like any other and will reply if it is something we can help with.

Reply times

A handful of people look after this inbox alongside writing and editing, so answers can take a few days, sometimes longer in busy weeks. Every message is read. We may not be able to reply to every one individually, but corrections are always looked at first.

What happens to your email

We use your message and address only to answer you. Nobody is signed up to anything as a result, and your details stay with us. You can read more in Privacy & Data.

Before you write

It might be worth a quick look at What You Will Find Here. Your question may already have its own guide, and if it does not, knowing which section it belongs to helps us point it to the right person on the team.

This page sends nothing itself. Your mail program opens a draft, and the send button there stays in your hands.

Good to know before writing

Real people read this inbox

The same three writers who publish the guides also open the mail, so answers sometimes take a few days. Nothing goes unread.

Recipe hiccups, topic wishes and corrections are all welcome. Corrections simply get looked at first.
